Website Review – Kid Toc

At Sprout English, we are interested in seeing the ELT community grow! We like sharing articles related to education and passing along relevant information. We recently came across a website with an interesting concept: Kid Toc, where kids teach kids English.

Kid Toc uses ebooks, videos, and lessons to help kids learn English, with a focus on improving reading. They believe that having an online “reading buddy” will really help kids improve their reading skills. They also have some sample read-along videos to try. The Kid Teachers are also the cofounders of the company, so they have an good idea of what kids like!

What do other teachers think of the concept of kids teaching kids? Would this be something you could incorporate into your class, or suggest to students who need extra practice?
