The Living Room

Are your young English learners familiar with the vocabulary for objects in a home? We’re continuing to add to the Transportation & Housing section of our Word Bank. This week, we’re focusing on The Living Room!

Our new vocabulary lesson on The Living Room includes a picture dictionary, matchup, word choice, word search, word scramble, and spelling bee. Discussion questions allow students to practice the new vocabulary in context. Use the flashcards at the end of the lesson for further review, or try some of the fun activities in 9 Ways to Use Cards & Flashcards in Class.

Try our My House lesson for vocabulary on the exterior of the house and yard. For another room, check out our lesson on The Kitchen.

Find this lesson in the Word Bank – Transportation & Housing.
